Featured Opportunity
The program aims to increase understanding in one of the following focus areas: 1) programs, policies, and practices that reduce inequality in youth outcomes, and 2) strategies to improve the use of research evidence in ways that benefit youth. 
  • Award Amount: Up to $600K (over 2 - 3 years)
  • Deadline: Applications due August 3, 2022

Funding Opportunities
Seeking projects that focus on planning and building financial services. Examples of consumer-facing services they seek to activate as ILP nodes are digital wallets, mobile money providers, banks, and neo-banks.
  • Award Amount: $75K (up to 20 recipients)
  • Deadline: Applications due July 8, 2022
Supporting pilot projects to demonstrate the impact of these low-cost activations and encourage cities to develop their own processes for implementing effective asphalt art projects.
  • Award Amount: $25K (20 total grants)
  • Deadline: Applications due July 11, 2022
The Foundation for Food and Agriculture Research (FFAR) is supporting the opportunity to develop an original, innovative methodology for regularly occurring quantitative measurement of food waste generated in US households that stakeholders across the food system can use.
  • Award Amount: Up to $1M
  • Deadline: Applications due July 13, 2022
The goal of the program is to bring award recipients and scientists together to explore new areas of technology advancement. Proposals should demonstrate significant potential for research discoveries within CooperVision key focus areas for 2022. 
  • Award Amount: Up to $100K (Seedling Award) or $400K (Translational Research Award)
  • Deadline: Applications due July 15, 2022
The Leakey Foundation exclusively funds research related to human origins. Priority of funding is commonly given to exploratory phases of promising new research projects that meet the stated purpose of the Foundation. 
  • Award Amount: Up to $25K  
  • Deadline: Applications due July 15, 2022
Seeks proposals from organizations interested in developing datasets for equitable climate outcomes in climate & energy and climate & health. 
  • Award Amount: No amount limitations
  • Deadline: Applications due July 17, 2022
The foundation's research aims to solve scientific challenges posed by disease, pests, and other environmental issues. This research benefits not only growers but every segment of the industry down to the consumer. 
  • Award Amount: Up to $45K
  • Deadline: Applications due August 1, 2022
The program provides research support to the most promising young faculty members in the early stages of their academic careers in the chemical and life sciences, particularly to foster the invention of methods, instruments and materials that will open up new avenues of research in science.
  • Award Amount: Up to $600K (over 4 years)
  • Deadline: Applications due August 1, 2022
The Foundation welcomes proposals from any of the natural and social sciences and aligned disciplines that promise to increase understanding of the causes, manifestations, and control of violence and aggression. Highest priority is given to research that addresses urgent, present-day problems of violence—what produces it, how it operates, and what prevents or reduces it.  
  • Award Amount: Up to $45K 
  • Deadline: Applications due August 1, 2022
SIF invites concept proposals for projects that link an explicit research design to a concrete social action strategy. Projects should also have specifically stated social change goals. For this funding cycle, priority will be given to projects that explicitly promote racial justice and more equitable laws, policies and practices.
  • Award Amount: Up to $20K
  • Deadline: Applications due September 16, 2022
